Peddler's Permit

A permit is required for door to door sales, solicitation activity or to peddle on street corners while engaged in selling a service or product as stated in the Saginaw Charter Township Code of Ordinances Chapter 46, Sec. 46-31 through Sec. 46-63. The permit fee is $50.00 and is applicable for only a thirty (30) day period per calendar year. An application must be filed with the Clerk's Office. Temporary Outdoor Display Permit

A permit is required for Temporary Outdoor Displays, such as tent sales and sidewalk sales. There is $100.00 bond that shall accompany the application and must be filed with the Clerk's office 14 days prior to the event. The Display shall not exceed seven days per calendar year. Click on the Application for a printable copy. The Fire Department requires the Operational Permit Application to be completed and returned with a $25.00 fee to the Clerk's office if a tent is used.

Alarm Permit

Any person or business that occupies or owns a premise that has an alarm system installed and maintained is required to obtain a permit from the Clerk's office. There is a one time fee of $15.00 for residents and $25.00 for businesses. Click on Alarm Permit Application for a printable copy. Charitable/Religious Solicitation Permit

A permit is also required for Charitable/Religious Solicitation in Saginaw Charter Township per the Code of Ordinances Chapter 46, Sec. 46-91 through Sec. 46-118. The fee is waived but an application must be filed with the Clerk's Office. The permit is applicable for a thirty (30) day period per calendar year.
